Access is so close to Highway 9 that you are only 20 minutes into Canon City and just over an hour from the Colorado Springs Airport. This would be the ultimate year round living if you desire remoteness yet need to be to a hospital or grocery store within 30 minutes. The terrain varies from rugged tree covered hillsides to rolling grass meadows with intermittent creeks, ponderosa pines, pinion pines,and incredible granite rock formations. Power and phone is underground to each parcel and the gravel roads inside the ranch are maintained year round. Imagine gazing up at 14,000 ft Pikes Peak then turning around to overlook Sand Gulch and the valleys below. Can you handle all this splendor? Historic Downtown Cañon City

      Cañon City's downtown area is listed on the National Historical Register as it is abundant in early 1900's architecture. The quaint atmosphere of the downtown area warrants a shopping trip to visit the local boutiques and merchants. A downtown walking tour guide of the historical district is available at the local Chamber of Commerce and includes historical information pertinent to each building registered.

      Downtown Cañon City has been well preserved over the years, and as such, is the largest historical/commercial district in Colorado, and is designated as such on the National Historical Register.
